The Republican Governors Association congratulates Republican Governor Gary Herbert on his re-election tonight in Utah.
“Since taking office, Governor Herbert has provided effective, conservative leadership for the people of Utah, and it’s no surprise that the voters have rewarded him with another term,” said RGA chairman Bob McDonnell. “Under Governor Herbert, Utah has consistently been ranked among the best states for business and enjoys one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country.”
The RGA invested more than $150,000 in Utah this year.
