If you are covering Joe Biden’s trip to campaign for Michelle Lujan Grisham in New Mexico, please consider the following statement from the Republican Governors Association:
“Joe Biden said Andrew Cuomo should “resign” when allegations of sexual harassment were levied against him. Yet, even though Michelle Lujan Grisham sexually assaulted a gay male staffer, then wrote him a $150,000 settlement check, President Biden still thinks Lujan Grisham deserves reelection,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “Joe Biden must condemn Lujan Grisham for her actions, and call off the Governor’s allies who still send near daily death threats to her victim.”
This week’s Emerson College poll shows that 49% of New Mexico’s voters disapprove of the job Biden is doing. Only 45% approve of Biden.
