Michelle Lujan Grisham used a convicted felon in her most recent campaign ad, according to the Santa Fe New Mexican.
“Batty, who, according to court records, was convicted of a third-degree felony in Utah in 2005 for attempted theft and then arrested again four months later for violating the terms of her probation, is among a handful of small-business owners featured in a new TV ad that calls Lujan Grisham a ‘great governor.'”
Remember, polls show that crime is the #1 issue voters care about in NM.
So, since MLG champions her support of lawbreakers, we thought we would give the Governor a head start on creating her newest voter coalition group:
“No surprise that Michelle Lujan Grisham, with her soft on crime policies, proudly featured a convicted felon to make the case for re-election on her behalf,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “Voters should be shocked and dismayed that while they worry about the safety of their family and neighborhoods, that Governor Lujan Grisham highlights support from convicted felons.”
