If you’re covering Betsy Johnson’s event in downtown Portland today, please consider the following statement:
“Betsy Johnson can attempt to run away from her soft on crime record, but voters know it included votes to eliminate minimum bail requirements for violent criminals and to use hard-working Oregonians’ taxpayer dollars to implement the failed Measure 110. The problems Portland, and Oregon at large, face on crime and homeless are a direct result of Johnson’s, Tina Kotek’s, and Kate Brown’s failed policies,” said RGA Spokeswoman Kaitlin Price. “Johnson has no plan to stop the devastating homelessness, drug crisis, and crime plaguing Portland’s communities; this is just one of many reasons Oregon Republicans will reject her this November.”
