Janet Mills can kiss support from Maine’s important coastal community goodbye.

Not only did Governor Mills and Joe Biden pave the way for offshore wind that will destroy Maine’s lobster fishing grounds, but Mills just announced she is “shutting down” fishing for the bait fishermen and fisherwomen use to catch lobster.

“The lobster fishing community already struggles to afford bait amid sky rocking fuel costs and recently implemented onerous regulations that forced them to buy new gear, but Janet Mills wants fishermen and fisherwomen to pay even more,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “Governor Mills will always put her radical environmental agenda ahead of the livelihoods of the men and women working in Maine’s heritage industries.”
