Democrat Governor Laura Kelly had three words to say about the looming Biden-created recession to a Democrat group on July 4th: “Bring it on.”
As reported by Bloomberg, Americans are already suffering under Biden-created inflation and for some, the pain of a recession has already begun: “Prices are soaring worldwide, particularly for essential foods and fuels, eroding the spending power of families… Workers are complaining their wages aren’t keeping up with the cost of living… And small-business owners worry passing along too much of the jump will drive them to bankruptcy.”
But in Kansas, Democrat Kelly is practically giddy for a chance to show how her over 20 tax cut vetoes have inflated the state budget and protected her spending power. Saying of a possible recession, “Bring it on.”
In contrast, Republican Derek Schmidt knows the expected and in some cases ongoing economic hardships of fellow Kansans, is not something to celebrate: “My message is this – we need a governor who will stand up against Joe Biden’s failures, not welcome them to Kansas.”
