Guess who has yet to comment on the largest income tax cut in Georgia’s history? None other than the Democrat candidate running for governor.
50 days ago, Governor Brian Kemp signed the tax cut into law. For 50 days, Abrams has successfully dodged the question of if she would repeal it as governor.
“Hardworking Georgians have a right to know if they’ll be paying more in taxes under a Stacey Abrams administration, as it directly impacts their families and livelihoods in an already unsteady economy thanks to Joe Biden,” said RGA Spokeswoman Maddie Anderson. “It’s been 50 days and Abrams has had more than enough time to decide if she would raise taxes on Georgians or not. It’s high time she comes out and says it.”
