This weekend, some of the Democrat and Independent candidates for governor participated in a debate where they tried to pass blame for their party’s decades-long track record of failing the state, a fact noted by one of the debate moderators.
When asked about the state’s out of control homelessness crisis, Tina Kotek and Tobias Read opted to point fingers rather than offer real solutions to the issue at the top of every voter’s mind.
From inflation, to crime, to homelessness, voters didn’t need more proof that Democrats have failed Oregon at every turn, and now, they fail to offer a clear path forward.
“Just a few days after an OPB survey revealed that the state is heading in the wrong direction under Joe Biden and Democrat control, this debate disaster is just the latest example of Democrats’ all talk, no action game plan,” said RGA Spokeswoman Kaitlin Price. “Oregon Democrats like Kotek, Read, and the former Democrat member of the Oregon Senate Betsy Johnson have had ample opportunities to address the crisis that has run residents out of the state for years. These failed leaders are headed for rejection by Oregon voters this November.”

Glad to be a part of the ribbon cutting for a new neighborhood in Hudson yesterday.
With a new 60-day permitting process for housing, we’ve taken meaningful steps to tackle our housing shortage and keep New Hampshire growing.
Less red tape, more ribbon cuttings! https://t.co/x254Xw8SXD
.@SpanbergerforVA’s track record in Washington says it all: she wants to destroy American Energy Independence.
Abigail Spanberger’s energy plan is a roadmap to ruin. Banning gas cars. Killing jobs. Crushing families under a radical progressive agenda.
