The Kansas Senate just passed legislation to give Kansas parents easier access to school choice and a very clear say in their children’s education through a Parents’ Bill of Rights.
As is her style, Democrat Laura Kelly hasn’t publicly commented on either proposal.
“From Virginia in November to San Francisco just last month, Democrats across the country have faced a reckoning for their refusal to put the rights of parents first,” said RGA spokesperson Joanna Rodriguez. “Democrat Laura Kelly is once again refusing to take a stand, and voters are surely watching to see whether she’ll support Kansas students, parents, and families or stand with the teachers’ unions she needs to fuel her re-election campaign.”
