In a now-deleted Tweet, Wisconsin Democrat State Rep. Lee Snodgrass had a very hot take on the role parents should have in their child’s education:
In fairness to Rep. Snodgrass, she was only following the lead of the Chief Executive of her state. Just last week, Governor Tony Evers signaled he would veto a bill to create Parental Bill of Rights, calling it “radical.”
“Governor Evers’ and Wisconsin Democrats’ continued assaults on parents’ rights and transparency in education appear to be escalating,” said RGA Spokeswoman Maddie Anderson. “The self-proclaimed ‘education governor’ and his minions have made it crystal clear: they want parents shut completely out of the classroom. Their solution for concerned parents? During a time of record-high inflation, simply conjure up some extra cash for private school.”
