Yesterday was another totally normal, run of the mill day for Governor Tim Walz’ DFL party.
In direct violation of state law, the DFL party’s central committee voted unanimously to allow both illegal immigrants and convicted felons to vote in next week’s precinct caucuses.
“The Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party will now allow people in the U.S. illegally and those serving felony probation to participate in its caucuses, serve as delegates and hold leadership positions in the party.
“DFL leadership announced the expansion of participation at a Wednesday, Jan. 26, news conference, with the party’s central committee voting unanimously to make the change the night before.”
While we already know that Governor Walz supports allowing convicted felons to vote, his position on illegal immigrants voting in his state is unclear: he has yet to say a word.
“Governor Tim Walz is the head of Minnesota’s increasingly radical DFL party, and he won’t get away with turning a blind eye to their latest unlawful policy,” said RGA Spokeswoman Maddie Anderson. “While Democrats across the country falsely claim Republicans are attacking voting rights, the real attack on our electoral system is happening right under Tim Walz’ nose. He needs to make his position clear before next week’s voting starts.”
