“Trouble” Calls on AG Jerry Brown to Control Wasteful Spending, Respect Taxpayers
“Jerry Brown should stop his long-held practice of wasteful spending and pushing for massive tax increases.”
– Tim Murtaugh, Republican Governors Public Policy Committee
The Republican Governors Public Policy Committee, an affiliate of the Republican Governors Association, has launched a new television ad urging viewers to tell California Attorney General Jerry Brown to disavow any further plans to engage in harmful, wasteful government spending, and respect the fact that Californians are already paying high taxes. The ad – titled “Trouble” – encourages viewers to visit www.WhatsBrownDone.com to sign a petition conveying a similar message to Brown. The 30-second ad began airing today on broadcast and cable television.
“Everywhere he’s been, Jerry Brown has frittered away taxpayers’ dollars while consistently going back to them for more,” said Tim Murtaugh, spokesman for the Republican Governors Association. “Here’s the opportunity for Californians to say that Jerry Brown should stop his long-held practice of wasteful spending and pushing for massive tax increases.”
