Dem Kelly is First Gov to Skip Police Memorial in 10 Years

Democrat Governor Laura Kelly became the first Kansas governor in 10 years to skip the state’s annual law enforcement memorial ceremony, according to reporting from Breitbart. Kelly instead chose to attend an out-of-state political event hosted by the Democratic Governors Association.

“For nearly 10 years, Kansas’ governors have made time to honor the state’s fallen officers, that is until this year when Laura Kelly decided to skip so she could kiss the ring of her Democrat puppet masters,” said RGA spokesperson Joanna Rodriguez. “Kelly’s decision not to attend the memorial makes her priorities crystal clear at a time when her appointees have accused Kansas police of a ‘slave patrol mentality‘ and her fellow Democrats defund law enforcement across the country.”
