GOP Governors Live From the Southern Border: The Effects of Biden’s Failure Felt Across the Nation

MCALLEN, TX – Yesterday, some of the nation’s leading governors met for a briefing with those on the front line of Joe Biden’s border crisis, and proposed ten policy solutions for him to enact to protect America, secure the border, and end the crisis he created.

Governors Greg Abbott, Doug Ducey, Kim Reynolds, Pete Ricketts, Brian Kemp, Mike DeWine, Brad Little, Greg Gianforte, Mark Gordon, and Kevin Stitt visited the border to share the effects of this unmitigated humanitarian, health, and national security crisis they see arising in their states. These governors discussed how the number of migrants who have crossed the southern border surpasses the number of residents in Montana, fentanyl-related deaths have skyrocketed in Arizona and Ohio, unaccompanied migrant children were sent by the Biden administration to Iowa without notice, and up to 40,000 COVID-positive patients have been relocated to cities across America.

American and migrant lives are on the line as another day passes with no action from Joe Biden. The state law enforcement and National Guardsmen and women from states across the country cannot handle the crisis alone, policy change must be enacted now: we need Joe Biden to step up.
