While campaigning 230 miles away from Cincinnati City Hall, John Cranley spent time bragging to Ohioans about arresting less criminals in the Queen City. Meanwhile, homicides soared to their highest point in 2020, and continue to surge in 2021.
With these kinds of headlines, who wouldn’t want to brag?
“John Cranley can brag all he wants, but his record of leaving Cincinnatians less safe speaks for itself,” said RGA Spokesperson Chris Gustafson. “Instead of criss-crossing Ohio in a failed bid to become governor, Cranley should focus on his job as mayor first and work to actually lower crime in Cincinnati.”
