WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association (RGA) released the following statement from RGA Chairman Governor Greg Abbott congratulating West Virginia Governor Jim Justice on officially securing the Republican nomination to seek a second term:
“The RGA heartily congratulates Governor Justice on officially securing the Republican nomination to seek a second term. In less than four years, Governor Justice transformed West Virginia from having one of the slowest economic growth rates to one of the fastest in the nation. His pro-growth policies have created jobs and expanded opportunities for West Virginians, and his investments in education, broadband, and infrastructure are building a brighter future for the citizens he serves.
“Governor Justice has shown incredible leadership throughout the COVID-19 crisis, and his proactive, data-driven approach has put the Mountain State in a strong position to rebound. Governor Justice has earned four more years to continue making West Virginia even better for working families, and the RGA is proud to support him.”
