The Oklahoman has endorsed Republican Kevin Stitt for Oklahoma governor, praising his ability to bring “real change.”
As the editorial notes, Stitt is “a political outsider” who is an “advocate for improving teacher pay,” but – unlike his opponent Democrat Drew Edmondson – won’t do it by raising taxes.
The endorsement shows that Stitt would bring a fresh approach to the governor’s office, while rejecting liberal policies that would only make Oklahoma worse off.
