Republican businessman Bill Lee received the endorsement of the National Rifle Association in the Tennessee governor’s race today, confirming that he will be a staunch defender of the Second Amendment as governor.
NRA-PVF chairman Chris Cox said that, “Bill Lee is a staunch supporter of our Second Amendment freedoms, and we can trust him to protect our fundamental right to self-defense.”
Bill Lee’s liberal Democrat opponent, Karl Dean, has a “stark” difference in view on second amendment issues, with Dean holding left-wing positions on gun rights.
The NRA’s endorsement is further proof that Tennesseans can trust Bill Lee to protect the Second Amendment.
