As Rhode Island job losses continue to mount, it’s clear that Democrat Governor Gina Raimondo has failed to get the job done.
Yesterday, Rhode Island’s Department of Labor and Training reported a loss of 2,400 jobs in August while the state’s unemployment rate remained above the national average. This comes as a new poll showed Raimondo’s approval rating remains underwater at just 38 percent while only 39 percent of those surveyed feel the state is headed in the right direction under her leadership.
After nearly four years of scandals, systemic mismanagement, and anemic job growth, Raimondo continues to fail the people of Rhode Island.
