Only weeks into the general election for Wisconsin’s gubernatorial race, Democrat Tony Evers is consistently trying to mislead voters on key issues. At a rally earlier this month, Evers stated that Wisconsin is ranked 49th in the nation for infrastructure, only to have his claim rated “False” by Politifact Wisconsin.
Unfortunately, it appears that Evers’ dishonesty extends beyond his claims about the state’s infrastructure. A new editorial by The Wall Street Journal blasted Evers for relying on “half-baked” claims and “deliberate obfuscation” to attack Governor Scott Walker’s record on health insurance. Evers appears to be making a habit out of misleading voters to bolster his candidacy.
Evers’ inability to be truthful with the people of his state has become an alarming pattern and further shows that he can’t be trusted to lead Wisconsin.
