GOP Governor Larry Hogan continues to gain bipartisan support for his re-election bid, and the latest example is a historic endorsement from a major Maryland union.
The Washington Post reports that the 345,000 member United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters has endorsed Larry Hogan’s re-election bid, making it “the first time the labor group has backed a Republican gubernatorial candidate in Maryland.” The decision to back Hogan was supported by the “overwhelming majority” of the union’s leadership, and was based on Hogan’s “bipartisan leadership.”
Governor Larry Hogan has made it his mission to bring jobs back to Maryland, and Hogan has delivered with over 100,000 new jobs created on his watch, earning the support of unlikely allies in the process. It’s more proof that Hogan’s laser-focus on fixing Maryland is supported by Marylanders from across the political spectrum.
