WASHINGTON D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released the following statement tonight regarding New Jersey’s first gubernatorial debate:
“At tonight’s gubernatorial debate, Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno clearly demonstrated why she is the best candidate to help grow jobs, recruit new businesses, increase affordability and lead New Jersey forward,” said RGA Spokesman Jon Thompson. “Phil Murphy, meanwhile, did his best Jon Corzine impression, doubling-down on his out-of-touch policies, and how, if elected, he would raise taxes by at least $1.3 billion per year on hardworking New Jersey families. Phil Murphy just doesn’t get New Jersey.”
