
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released the following statement regarding President Donald Trump’s intent to nominate Kansas Governor Sam Brownback as Ambassador at Large for International Religious Freedom.
“Governor Sam Brownback has been a tireless advocate for the people of Kansas, and now in his new role, he will be a tireless advocate for religious freedom on the world stage,” said RGA Chairman Governor Scott Walker. “The RGA congratulates Governor Brownback on his upcoming nomination and looks forward to his continued leadership.”
