RGA Statement On Montana Democrats Re-Nominating Steve Bullock For Governor

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released the following statement following the results of today’s gubernatorial primary in Montana:

“Time and again, Democrat Governor Steve Bullock has proved himself to be just another liberal politician who says one thing, yet does another,” said RGA Communications Director Jon Thompson. “Although he promised to reform state government, Bullock used the taxpayer-funded state plane more than 20 times to travel to campaign events across the state and conducted official state business using a private email account. Bullock constantly railed against the use of corporate money in politics but then helped a liberal DC political group raise millions of it. Montanans deserve a strong, transparent leader who will stand firm in his beliefs, not four more years of Bullock’s shady, hypocritical conduct.”
