WASHINGTON D.C. – The Republican Governors Association launched its first television advertisement today in the Missouri governor’s race, detailing Democrat Chris Koster’s record as political opportunist who routinely puts himself first.

“Chris Koster promised he would clean up his act, but instead proved that he is just another self-serving politician who wasted precious taxpayer funds,” said RGA Communications Director Jon Thompson. “While Missouri families were struggling, Koster dished out $1 million in pay raises for his staff, snagged $3 million for an office makeover, and billed Missouri taxpayers $100,000 for his jetting around. Chris Koster is just another political opportunist, putting himself first and Missouri families last.”
