WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association issued the following statement on Governor Butch Otter’s re-election victory in Idaho:
“Idaho has voiced its strong support for Governor Otter and the progress he has forged in the state. Four more years under his direction is exactly what Idaho needs to continue to grow and succeed,” said RGA Chairman Chris Christie. “Governor Otter’s leadership in Idaho will continue to be a source of great strength for the state, and the Republican Governors Association is proud to congratulate him on his re-election.”
The Republican Governors Association was a key investor in Governor Otter’s re-election victory, spending $1.2 million on paid media. The RGA ran three television ads in Idaho during the election, detailing Democrat A.J. Balukoff’s liberal record and his support for President Obama’s failed agenda.
