“Mary Burke has had a rough go of it this week, and for good reason,” said RGA Communications Director Gail Gitcho. “Last week’s revelations of Burke’s plagiarized jobs plan only deepened, and worse, her own clumsy attempt to define plagiarism was, embarrassingly, a description of the very offense she is accused of committing. It’s a surefire indication that Burke has a long way to go before the questions about her credibility and leadership that this episode has raised are answered.”
