WASHINGTON D.C. – Republican Governors Association Chairman Chris Christie issued the following statement regarding Area Development Magazine naming Governor Nathan Deal’s Georgia as its Top State for Doing Business:
“Governor Nathan Deal’s sharp, ambitious vision for Georgia is bringing home real results. This week, Georgia was again recognized as a top state for business, and it’s no fluke. The pro-growth, pro-business policies Governor Deal has championed and implemented have reinvigorated job creation to the tune of over 250,000 new jobs and positive economic development in Georgia. Thanks to his leadership, the state will only continue to grow in strength and competitiveness. Georgia has reason to be proud of these results and optimistic about the path forward Governor Deal has forged.”
