WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association launched its first television advertisement today in the Colorado governor’s race, which details Democrat governor John Hickenlooper’s massive shortcomings in leadership and the need for a new direction in Colorado.

“When faced with tough decisions, it’s up to a governor to step in and take the lead, but that hasn’t been the case in Colorado under Governor John Hickenlooper,” said RGA Communications Director Gail Gitcho. “Voters expected action from Governor Hickenlooper, but instead, he’s repeatedly shirked his responsibilities. Enough is enough. It’s time for a leadership change in Colorado. It’s time for a doer like Bob Beauprez in the governor’s office.”
