WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released a new television advertisement today in the New Mexico governor’s race which calls attention to Democrat Gary King’s failure to curtail Medicaid fraud as attorney general.

“Gary King’s record as attorney general is rife with instances of shortcoming and failure,” said RGA Communications Director Gail Gitcho. “On his watch, Medicaid fraud in New Mexico went unchecked, allowing scam artists to rip off millions of dollars from the taxpayers. King has been a terrible attorney general who hasn’t looked out for New Mexico, and he’d be a worse governor.”
