Devastation in Milwaukee

It’s been a horrific week in Milwaukee.

A 5-year old girl was shot and nearly killed on Sunday, two men are in the hospital after a gas station shootout on Tuesday, one man was shot and another shot and killed on Wednesday.

Sadly, this is not a rare violent week for Milwaukee families. The month of July started out with this devastating headline: Milwaukee children shot; police say 4 in 4 days. And Milwaukee is rapidly breaking homicide records. Where is Governor Evers?

“Wisconsin families are desperate for a leader whose top priority is keeping their communities safe,” said RGA Spokeswoman Maddie Anderson. “Instead, Governor Tony Evers gave counties the green light to defund Wisconsin’s police departments. Elections have consequences, and Evers will come to find that out very soon.”
