President Biden’s Labor Secretary is in Maine today meeting with Governor Mills, so I thought today would be a great day for Mills to finally give a straight answer on a still unanswered question.
So here you go:
“Nearly a month has passed, so where does Governor Mills stand on allowing the federal government to fine already struggling small businesses $14,000 if they do not comply with Biden’s vaccine mandate?”
For a federal mandate that will affect 1 in 3 Maine workers, Governor Mills ought to have an answer.
“Biden’s overreaching vaccine mandate promises to drive Maine’s economy even further into the ditch, and for Janet Mills to refuse to lay out her position on such a crucial issue is a disgrace,” said RGA spokesman Will Reinert. “With businesses already facing a worker shortage, this vaccine mandate could be the ruin for many small businesses who’ve struggled to keep their doors open after restrictive pandemic policies.”
