RGA Launches Ad in Virginia Governor’s Race: Terry McAuliffe: Betting On China, Not Virginia

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Republican Governors Association launched its first television advertisement in the Virginia governor’s race highlighting Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe’s lack of trustworthiness. The ad can be viewed here: http://youtu.be/3CgDnx5SM58

“Instead of fulfilling his promise to create jobs in Virginia, Terry McAuliffe decided to look out for his own wallet and bet on China – leading many to believe the financing of his car company was in fact a ‘visa-for-sale’ scheme for Chinese investors and a poor business model,” said RGA Communications Director Gail Gitcho. “Terry McAuliffe put Terry first when he decided to pass up on Virginians for China. There is only one candidate in the Virginia governor’s race focused on creating jobs in Virginia, and that’s Ken Cuccinelli.”

Terry McAuliffe.

“I know what it is to create good jobs.”

But instead of creating jobs in Virginia, Terry McAuliffe is betting on China.

“I’ve just announced a plant in China…..We’re ready to go.”

“We laid the cornerstone two days ago in China and we’re off and building it.”

“Here’s the facility that we are building over here…it will be a total 15 billion square feet.”

“What folks what to know from me most importantly, how are you going to grow this economy and how are you going to create jobs.”

Can you trust Terry McAuliffe?
