New RGA Ad In Virginia: You Just Can’t Trust Terry McAuliffe

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association launched a new television advertisement today in the Virginia governor’s race exposing Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe’s blatant attempts to fabricate the truth and break his promises. The ad can be viewed here: http://youtu.be/81H6T6zlKWY

“Terry McAuliffe relentlessly attempts to deceive Virginia voters that he is out for their best interests when, in fact, his record proves otherwise,” said RGA Communications Director Gail Gitcho. “When given the opportunity to bring jobs to Virginia, Terry McAuliffe chose instead to build his electric car company in China. Unlike his Democratic opponent, Ken Cuccinelli has a strong record for putting Virginia first and keeping his word.”

“I actually went to China and bought their biggest electric car company and I moved the entire company back to the United States of America.”

Not true.

“McAuliffe came here to Mississippi last summer with the promise of thousands of jobs and a huge manufacturing facility. But now here we are in 2013 and the only thing on this site is some overgrown grass and some gravel.”

But in China?

“Here we are from Ordos, China. As you can see, the construction is going on feverously behind us.”

You just can’t trust Terry McAuliffe.
