WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Comeback Committee, a related organization of the Republican Governors Association, released a new radio advertisement today in the Hawaii governor’s race, which details how Mufi Hannemann and Democrat David Ige have put politics ahead of what’s best for Hawaii, content to leave taxpayers stuck with the bill.

“Politicians like Mayor Mufi Hannemann and David Ige, out to curry favor with party bosses and special interests, have forgotten who they really work for,” said spokesperson Stacy Day. “They’ll stop at nothing to make sure their costly, irresponsible agenda is put in place, even if it means making Hawaii’s taxpayers give more to get less. The future of Hawaii shouldn’t be left to politicians like them, working only for themselves and subscribing to politics as usual.”
