RGA Statement on Wisconsin Gubernatorial Primary

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association (RGA) released the following statement in response to the Wisconsin gubernatorial primary:

“Congratulations to Tom Tiffany on his primary victory. As governor, Tiffany will lower property taxes, back the blue, and root out fraud and government waste. It’s time for Wisconsin to have a strong Republican governor back at the helm in Madison,” said RGA Chair Governor Greg Gianforte. “David Crowley has been asleep at the wheel and represents the failed policies of the Democrat establishment: higher costs, rising property taxes, and rampant crime. Wisconsin voters will reject him in November.”
