RGA Statement On Oregon Democrats Nominating Kate Brown For Governor

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released the following statement following the results of today’s gubernatorial primary in Oregon:

“Despite vowing to restore transparency to the Oregon governorship, Kate Brown has continued to shroud her administration in secrecy, just like disgraced Governor John Kitzhaber did before her,” said RGA Communications Director Jon Thompson. “The people of Oregon deserve a governor who will be open and honest with them, not someone who will say one thing, yet do another. Oregonians are in desperate need of a fresh start, but all Kate Brown’s false promises will do is continue to drag Oregon down.”
