RGA Statement on Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo Announcing Reelection Bid

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association (RGA) released the following statement in response to Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo announcing his reelection bid for the 2026 gubernatorial race:

“Nobody fights harder for the Nevada Way than Gov. Joe Lombardo. In just one term, Gov. Lombardo transformed Nevada’s business climate into a national powerhouse, provided accountability in education for parents and students, and fought to keep families safe,” said RGA Communications Director Courtney Alexander. “Unlike woke Aaron Ford, Gov. Lombardo knows that if neighborhoods aren’t safe, nothing else matters. Aaron Ford would be a disaster as governor, constantly siding with the radicals in his party and putting criminals ahead of families. Nevada needs Gov. Lombardo to keep building a brighter future.”
