RGA Statement on the Michigan Gubernatorial Debate

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association (RGA) released the following statement in response to the Michigan gubernatorial debate:

“Tonight, John James made the choice clear: four more years of failed Democratic rule or a new direction of common sense solutions to serve all of Michigan,” said RGA Communications Director Kollin Crompton. “Jocelyn Benson’s record is riddled with failures: her ties to the SPLC, allowing illegals to cast ballots on her watch, and 8,200 Michiganders receiving IDs printed with the wrong photo. As a combat veteran and Michigan businessman, John James has the leadership to get Michigan back on track.”
