WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association (RGA) launched a new ad in the North Carolina gubernatorial election, “Soft on Crime,” exposing Josh Stein’s liberal, soft on crime policies that are a threat to North Carolinians.
In the 30-second spot Randolph County Sheriff Gregory Seabolt details Stein’s disturbing decision to tout the endorsement of a group run by a defund the police radical just days after four law enforcement officers were killed in North Carolina.
Sheriff Seabolt continues to speak directly to North Carolina families describing Stein’s dangerous actions as Attorney General, including his push to eliminate cash bail and releasing violent criminals from prison early, that have made North Carolina less safe.
The ad is part of RGA’s initial seven-figure investment in the North Carolina gubernatorial race and will air on cable, broadcast, and digital platforms.

Josh Stein is soft on crime and his liberal policies are a threat to your family.
