The Republican Governors Association Issues Statement on Governors’ Successful Meeting with President Donald J. Trump at The White House

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association (RGA) Chair Governor Greg Gianforte released a statement following President Donald J. Trump’s successful meeting with America’s governors at The White House:

“President Trump has had unprecedented successes in his first year back in The White House, and in our productive meeting today we made it clear that Republican governors will continue to work with each other and with President Donald J. Trump to keep delivering for the American people.

“We know what is on the line and we will work as a team to get the job done, just as we always do.

“Republican governors around the country stand with President Trump. We are lowering taxes, balancing budgets, growing wages, creating safer communities, and reforming state government to better serve Americans. We will continue working with him to ensure that our nation’s best days are still ahead of us.”
