Homicides are not of interest for Evers

It’s been three days since Governor Tony Evers failed to even mention the top issue facing Wisconsinites in his State of the State address: skyrocketing violent crime.

Homicides in Milwaukee are up 188% from this time last year, so one would think Evers would dedicate a portion of his speech to….stopping that disturbing trend.

“Governor Evers’ refusal to address the violence plaguing his state is unsurprising given he declined to remove the District Attorney responsible for letting a violent criminal out on bail just one day before he tragically murdered 6 people at the Waukesha Christmas parade,” said RGA Spokeswoman Maddie Anderson.“Evers’ priorities are crystal clear: he’s more interested in shutting parents out of classrooms than he is in finding solutions to protect Wisconsin families from record-breaking violence.”
