WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association (RGA) released the following statement in response to the Kansas gubernatorial primary:
“Congratulations to Ty Masterson on his primary victory. Masterson is a results-oriented conservative who can deliver meaningful property tax relief, support safer communities, and reduce government overreach. Masterson has spent his career fighting for Kansas and lowering taxes, and he’s ready to take Kansas back after eight years of failure under a Democrat governor,” said RGA Chair Governor Greg Gianforte. “Cindy Holscher is an extreme liberal who has stood in the way of property tax relief, parental rights, and Kansas values. With Holscher as the new leader of Kansas Democrats and a record that puts her further to the left than Laura Kelly, this race comes down to a simple message: it’s about common sense versus crazy.”

Kansas needs a Governor who can keep us moving forward. That person is Ethan Corson. He is a true public servant, a middle-of-the-road leader, and a good man who wants this job for all the right reasons. I am proud to endorse @ethancorson for Governor of Kansas. https://t.co/Csf2Bjf6tx
