RGA Statement on Iowa Republican Gubernatorial Primary

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association (RGA) released the following statement on the Iowa Republican gubernatorial primary:

“Congratulations to Zach Lahn on his primary victory. Lahn is Iowa First: honoring those who built Iowa and empowering the next generation. That means supporting family farms, ending the cancer crisis, and investing in education,” said RGA Chair Governor Greg Gianforte. “Rob Sand failed to do his job as State Auditor, turning a blind eye to $25 million in misallocated spending. Iowans know who the real Rob Sand is: a weak leader who will say and do anything to get elected.”
