WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association (RGA) released the following statement in response to Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs pledging to veto a second tax cut proposal:
“Katie Hobbs is putting partisan politics over common sense with her pledge to veto a second tax cut package. Due to Katie Hobbs’ failed leadership, Arizona workers and families are struggling to make ends meet because of rising housing costs and a stagnant state economy. Now, Hobbs is failing once again to deliver for Arizona families,” said RGA Deputy Communications Director Kollin Crompton. “Instead of allowing Arizonans to keep more of their hard earned money, Hobbs is creating uncertainty for taxpayers as tax filings begin – especially for seniors and working families.”
