WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association (RGA) released the following statement in response to Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs vetoing a $1.1 billion tax cut for Arizona families just days after saying she would deliver a tax cut in her State of the State Address:
“Under Katie Hobbs’ watch, Arizona’s budget is broken and housing prices are completely out-of-reach for everyday Arizonans. Now, Katie Hobbs just vetoed a commonsense tax cut for Arizona families, working people, and seniors to play partisan politics. It’s one of the most shameful examples of Katie Hobbs’ inability to lead Arizona, and it will result in massive uncertainty for millions of Arizonans,” said RGA Deputy Communications Director Kollin Crompton.
