🚨 This week in The Red Zone 🚨
Welcome to The Red Zone, a brief weekly synopsis of the best happenings on the ‘21/‘22 Gov map!

First things first...

Thursday marked the one year anniversary of Andrew Cuomo's nursing home order that pushed COVID-positive patients into nursing homes and marked the start of the biggest Democrat nightmare. Not long after other Democrat governors made the same mistake.
Governors Gretchen Whitmer (MI), Phil Murphy (NJ), Tom Wolf (PA), Gavin Newsom (CA) and Tony Evers (WI) all followed suit and implemented the same policies in their states resulting in thousands of unnecessary deaths or misreported the data. Read more here.
Meanwhile, Republican governors advocate for re-opening safely...

Superstar of the Week

Governor Henry McMaster has exhibited great leadership in South Carolina in his efforts to re-open the state. This week, he pressed the state legislature to get children back in the classroom.

Republican Governors Lead on Low Unemployment Rates

Biden's Border Crisis

The Biden Administration has created a crisis at the southern border and the President has remained absent from the scene, refusing to accept responsibility.

Thanks to the timely action and responsiveness of Governors Greg Abbott and Doug Ducey, residents of their states remain safe and officials at the border are being provided with the resources they need.

"460% spike in illegal apprehensions, over 100,000 people in custody, 13,000 migrant children..."

🚨🚨 The Red Zone 🚨🚨

Governor Phil Murphy can't seem to catch a break. On top of his pandemic response catastrophe, bad ideas and displeasure from minorities, his constituents are fed up with his lockdown rules. One NJ business owner says, "I have to say we're starting to get used to bad decisions by Governor Murphy." It seems like Garden Staters are ready for something different.

The Week Ahead

  • Republican Governors will continue vaccine rollouts and re-opening their states.
  • Will Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham make a wasteful decision to drop $80k of taxpayer money a day to call a special session on legalizing marijuana?
  • Will Gretchen Whitmer address her hypocrisy?
