All of us with the Republican Party of Virginia and the McDonnell for Governor Campaign could not be more proud of the great job Phil, Tim, and Kiley did here in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The Campaign they ran here should by studied by political scientists the same way that General Jackson's Valley Campaign of 1862 is studied at West Point.

Phil Cox's steady and seasoned hand at the tiller of the Campaign inspired everyone from the youngest College Republican canvassers to the most senior political activists who still remember shaking the hand of our great Republican leader Dick Obenshain back in the 1970's. The RGA could not recruit a finer guy.

Tim Murtaugh's communication brilliance was everywhere and consistently provided focus and clarity in a way that left folks wanting more of his stuff. Don't believe me? Check out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yR399I4oES8 for an example.

And Kiley Smith's work in our home area of Northern Virginia allowed Bob McDonnell to carry Fairfax County, Virginia, something that the liberal pundits on MSNBC said was impossible.

Congratultions, RGA for your efforts. You now have the best our Commonwealth has to offer and we expect to hear great things.
