Democrats’ 3rd Tier Candidate to Enter Colorado Governor’s Race

Republican Governors Association Executive Director Nick Ayers today issued the following statement regarding the expected entry of Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper into the race for Governor of Colorado:

“As we have seen in other states across the country, Democrats know that their incumbent governor in Colorado would have been unable to defend his dismal record of running the state. Having shoved Bill Ritter aside and having been rebuffed by their back-up pick of Ken Salazar, Washington Democrats have now settled on their third option. The truth is, Democrats can switch candidates, but they cannot change their record of failure in Colorado.

“If you thought Bill Ritter was a disappointment, then you won’t like much of what you learn about John Hickenlooper. As the Mayor of Denver, he has never met a tax increase he didn’t embrace. His candidacy represents more of what is wrong with the current administration: greater burdens on hard-working Coloradans, increased unemployment, uncontrollable state spending and adherence to the demands of big labor bosses.

“We look forward to the upcoming campaign and plan to unite behind a high-quality candidate who will put forth positive ideas to strengthen the economy, create jobs, and improve the quality of life for all Coloradans.”

We need some real change in Colorado. Hickenlooper is no different than what we have had in Colorado.

Dear Mr Chairman, If you were to take a poll within
the R.N.C Gov. Association, what Governor is the
boldest defender of states rights and the separation of powers? Who would it be in your group?
I have a virgin idea for getting congress into
term limits. I live in the democratic stronghold of
Wisconsin. How can I share my vision with leadership? David Kelley newgenenet01@yahoo.com

I couldn’t agree with you more on this and the fact that we need to take back the governorships and the Congress and then, keep working to keep it.

I am looking for campaigns to work and would like to attend several LI campaign schools and perhaps attend the RNC Campaign Management College and the American Campaign Acadamy.

I have 32 years campaign experience working at all levels and branches of governance, lived in 35 states, worked 28 campaigns and 60 elections waiting to put to good use to take back the majority in the Congress and governorships but I don’t intend to work 20-40 hr days for free.

I am able and willing to travel extensively.

    Please contact me immediately.
